Dear Parents and Friends, Head of Lower School, Amy Mendel, has been working on certification as a trainer in Brain-Based Education through Eric Jensen since January 2007. Since that time, Ms. Mendel has attended multiple institutes, conducted workshops for Highlands School’s faculty and staff, and completed and passed an exam with 150 essay questions. Ms. Mendel will participate in a graduation ceremony in January giving her the honor of becoming the second certified brain-based trainer in the State of Alabama.
