Thank you all for helping others during this fun day. The teachers were thrilled to have been given two jeans days last week as well as the opportunity to answer trivia questions with James on Friday for prizes. Dear Parents,

Last Friday I had the “day off” while James and William Dixon took charge as the “Heads for the Day.” They started the day with a canned food drive at car-pool collecting 259 cans for Grace Food Pantry in Woodlawn. Thank you all for helping others during this fun day.

The teachers were thrilled to have been given two jeans days last week as well as the opportunity to answer trivia questions with James on Friday for prizes. Stu-dents arrived in costumes on Friday and paraded across the stage during Commu-nity Meeting for a grade level costume contest. Congratulations to the preschool students for winning!

The boys visited each classroom and enjoyed telling the teachers, “You have worked so hard this week. Why don’t you take tomorrow off?” They treated their own grades – kindergarten and second grade – to a pizza picnic on the quad. At the end of the day, all the students gathered on the quad for a friendly tug-of-war competition.

Enjoy the week!
