Advanced turnkey vision solutions

Custom designed turnkey solution for measuring dimensions, surface defects, material distribution etc directly after the IS machine.

A precise measurement of dimensions combined with consistent detection of surface defects such as dirts, stones, seeds, birdswings, blisters and material distribution in the hot end may prove very valuable. The HETA is designed to visualize trends and alert production in order to minimize scrap. It will allow you to remove freaks before the lehr and potentially help you increase yield.

Setup / Handling

The HETA setup is based on a camera unit and a con-trolled light box unit placed at the conveyor. Both units are motorized to fit to different conveyor heights and container types.

■ Installed on the production line using 3 cameras toensure accurate dimensions and speedy adjustment

All measurements are related to individual cavities and can be visualized either as totals or for each cavity.

Critical dimensions are measured with high precision and compared to entered specifications.

Top / Finish

The top camera provides a high resolution image of the finish area. Besides a height and diameter measure-ment, the camera inspects the finish for freaks.

Surface

The entire surface of each container is inspected. De-fects are classified so the operator can take action on trends.

■ Detects: Stones, oil marks, birdswings, slug bottom,blisters, large seeds, mold dope, inclusions.

■ The surface can be divided into 10 individual areaswith individual sensitivity

■ Embossment like logos can be omitted, while inspecting surface around it

■ Classification of defects ■ Inspection carried out around bottle punt

Glass Distribution

Detect material movement within the container and display results with color map.

■ Based on controlled visible light - NOT IR■ Works on all container types, but accuracy improves

on coloured containers■ Displays thin/thick areas in blue/red color for easy

interpretation■ Material distribution is analyzed in up to 10 separat

areas
