• Adapted IHI Improvement Map for Public Health• Partnered with four NC LHDs and their community partners to design site• Worked with tobacco and PAN experts to populate the database with 10
EBIs
Phase 1 Aug 2012-June 2013
• Partnered with 9 community partnerships to refine design and content• Identified gaps and improved IMAPP's user-friendliness• Added an additional 14 tobacco and PAN EBIs• Added 20 additional EBIs focused on chronic disease, unintended
pregnancy/STI, and substance abuse

Inclusion/Exclusion Criteria for Interventions
Inclusion Criteria
1. Intervention program must align with achieving one or more of the 9 Public Health Aims for Quality.
2. Intervention program could be conducted on a large scale to affect a large portion of the community.
3. Intervention program is currently available, meaning
a. Web-based or print materials/current resources are available - and/or –
b. Contact information for implementation support/guidance is available.
4. Program evaluation results and/or published literature on the intervention’s effectiveness are available.
5. Intervention program can demonstrate a tangible or intangible economic impact. (Note: this is preferred, and interventions will not be excluded if they do not meet this criterion.)
6. Intervention program must address one or more of the Healthy NC 2020 objectives.
Exclusion Criteria
1. Commercial intervention programs offered by for-profit companies
2. Evidence-based intervention strategies that do not have implementation resources.
Semi-Annual Review Process• 1 to 2 experts per focus area• Review occurs 2x/year, usually in April and October
IMAPP team notifies intervention contact if an EBI is to be removed and collets information for new EBIs
