NEBOSH ACCREDITED COURSESNEBOSH (The National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) qualifications in health, safety and risk are globally recognised by employers in all industry sectors. WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff is currently accredited to offer the NEBOSH International Diploma and International General Certificate programmes.

WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff’s NEBOSH courses in the Middle East are led by Dr. Rob Cooling. Rob has significant experience as an HSE practitioner in the UK, Middle East and Northern Africa. During his time in the region, he has been frequently involved in the provision of NEBOSH training, and has worked with NEBOSH as an examiner for their Diploma and Certificate qualifications.

NEBOSH INTERNATIONAL DIPLOMA

The NEBOSH International Diploma is a six week programme intended for individuals who want to progress their career in health and safety and develop in-depth knowledge and skills as health and safety practitioners. The NEBOSH International Diploma is quickly developing recognition as the leading global qualification for health and safety management and satisfies the criteria for Graduate membership of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).

NEBOSH ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS AT WORK

The NEBOSH Environmental Awareness at Work is a one day course providing an introduction to environmental issues in the workplace, such as pollution, impact assessment and waste management. The training is useful in raising awareness of the principles of environmental protection and supporting the implementation of Environmental Management Systems (EMS), such as ISO 14001, with the essential competencies to practice health and safety management at work.

NEBOSH INTERNATIONAL GENERAL CERTIFICATE

The NEBOSH International General Certificate course is a two week programme intended for managers, supervisors, health and safety professionals and other personnel with responsibilities for health and safety. The course delivery focuses on international health and safety standards and best practice to equip participants with the essential competencies to practice health and safety management at work.

Khansaheb is committed to ensuring that all company safety officers are competent to complete their day to day activities and that they hold the NEBOSH International General Certificate. The WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff team is working with Khansaheb to meet this requirement, ensuring that courses are held at convenient times to allow the release of our staff. IEMA ACCREDITED COURSES IEMA (The Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment) is the largest environmental professional body, providing environmental practitioners with the knowledge, skills and tools to ensure sound environmental performance delivers real business benefit.

FOUNDATION CERTIFICATE IN ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT

The Foundation Certificate is a three day course for those who have recently become involved in environmental management or for whom environmental management is an integral part of a wide range of responsibilities.

It is the first step on the IEMA membership ladder of professional development. The next step is the Associate Certificate, which together with appropriate experience can lead on to full membership.

EMS IMPLEMENTATION

EMS Implementation is a three day course providing the appropriate tools and techniques to analyse the business and move forward with implementing an Environmental Management System. The training provides a thorough understanding of the ISO 14001 standard including its inherent value and limitations and also how it may be interpreted and effectively applied within your organisation.

INTERNAL ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS (EMS) AUDITOR

Internal Environmental Management System (EMS) Auditor is a three day course designed to provide the skills and knowledge to assess and report on the conformance and effective implementation of an EMS. Rob is lead tutor for the NEBOSH Diploma and delivers a range of our internationally recognised qualifications. He has substantial experience in the development of tailored training to address industry specific needs.

Rob is responsible for ensuring the technical excellence of our training provision and delivers training on health and safety strategy and leadership, health and safety culture and worker involvement.

HASSAN KTAECH

Hassan contributes to the delivery of short courses on health and safety management, including training on substances hazardous to health.

Hassan has particular experience in asbestos management and regularly provides training on all aspects of asbestos surveying and removal.

LINO YOHANNAN

Lino specialises in the provision of construction health and safety training. He also contributes to the NEBOSH courses we offer throughout the region.
