in perpetuity.

4.2. The Club in collaboration with NQ may then also create a Locked-Up Logo which

incorporates their naming rights club sponsor and the original Club logo (Club/League logo

lockup). The Club/League Locked Up Logo needs to be approved by the League.

4.3. Brand Guidelines will be provided for the League and for each Club. This will include

versions of the Club logo and the Club/League Locked Up Logo, in full colour and mono.

• A conflict of the Principle Partner of the League (currently HART Sport), or

• A conflict of the Principle Partner of NQ / Queensland Firebirds (currently Lorna

Jane)

• Non-alcoholic beverages (soft drink, sports drink and water) – Coca-Cola Amatil

• In addition, no Club may enter into a partnership which conflicts with NQ partners in

the following categories:

• Personal & Business Banking, general & business insurance, wealth products and

services (excluding superannuation and private medical insurance) - Suncorp

• Sporting Equipment, including balls – HART SPORT

• Chocolate and Confectionery - Cadbury

• If the League secures a Principle Partner for the League after a Club has secured a Club

sponsor that is a competitor of that League Principle Partner, the Club sponsorship will

stand until the end of the agreement.

• The League requires that, any new prospective sponsor to a club within the League,

must be approved by Netball Queensland to ensure there is no risk of conflict.

• Where there is an obvious existing conflicting sponsorship, the Club must contact the

League six (6) months prior to the expiry of the current agreement and afford the

League’s exclusive category sponsor an opportunity to secure the Club sponsorship

moving forward. Should the League Principle Partner decline this opportunity, the

Club will be able to renew their sponsorship with their existing partner.

5.2. Non-Exclusive League Sponsorship Categories • Clubs are permitted to acquire sponsors who are competitors of other non-exclusive

Netball Queensland partners, but must notify NQ in writing before they enter into any

sponsorship agreement.

• Clubs entering into any agreement with a partner that conflicts with the non-exclusive

categories below must complete a Sponsorship Approval Pro Forma (Appendix 2) and

submit it to the League.

• The following categories are currently non-exclusive:

• Massage Cream – fisiocrem

• TV Broadcaster - Channel 9

• Telecommunications & Technology - Telstra

• Camping and outdoor products - OzTrail

• The League reserves the right to enter into agreements with additional sponsors.

Conversely, sponsors from the above list may choose to discontinue their involvement

changes occur.

5.3. Prior to the commencement of the season, Clubs will be required to submit Sponsor

Approval Form (Appendix 2) outlining their proposed sponsorship agreements and current

sponsorship agreements.

5.4. Club Sponsorship Structure • Clubs can establish a sponsorship structure that is suitable to their own situation.

Netball Queensland recommends a tiered model which provides commercial partners

with layered access to use of the Club logos and marks. The following is an example of

a suitable structure but is not mandatory. A pictorial example of this can be found in

Appendix 3:

• One (1) Club Principle Partner (also known as Naming Rights Partner)

• Multiple Club Major Partners

• Multiple Club Official Partners

• Multiple Club Suppliers

• One (1) Apparel Partner

5.5. Asset Allocation – League and Clubs Below are the allocations of key commercial assets across the League and Clubs. Clubs are

• All League Sponsor logos must be applied exactly as directed by Netball Queensland.

• It is the Club’s responsibility to ensure hem line logos are not encroached upon once playing kit is hemmed. Please allow enough room to ensure this happens.
