Botanical Pillow

This oh-so-simple pillow is a standout with its colorful botanical print. We made it to fit a 16" pillow form. To make your own, simply choose the pillow form that fits

your needs. Measure and cut the fabric accordingly, adding a 1/2"

seam allowance — and sew! You’ll have a cushy accent pillow before

you can say “Smile.”

Olly Olly (Oxen Free)

Sad, drab footstools just wouldn’t do for our lively new room. That’s why we recovered a trio of petite ottomans with our fresh and funky fabrics. By mixing colors and prints, we created a fun and stylish look that coordinated perfectly with our bright and friendly décor. Try your hand at updating your own worn-out furniture. Start with smaller pieces,

then work your way up to overhauling stools, chairs, even sofas!

A Tisket, A Tassel

Lime…pink…and full of pizzazz! Piles and piles of pillows make for an extra comfy space. And there’s no need for matching

prints...a common color palette is enough to unify your designs. With that in mind, we made sure this striking accent pillow was charmingly over the top. It was sewn using Simplicity pattern

#4108 and an eye-popping floral print. Accented with a unique

beaded tieback, it’s a fun, quirky addition to our happy space!

Sometimes you need a little pick-me-up. And our bright, beautiful fabrics are sure to do the trick. Our bold colors and fabulous prints will breathe fresh air into family rooms, bedrooms, dorm rooms

and any room in between! Turn any tired space into a cheerful sunny haven with happy window treatments, trendy accent pillows, and joyful pop art.

Oopsy-Daisy

There’s nothing difficult about creating this fabulous flower power pop art! To get the look, cut simple shapes from our colorful fabrics—don’t be afraid

to mix a variety of colors and patterns. Then, follow the manufacturer’s

directions to apply fusible web. Iron the cutouts onto the canvas and add a few charming accents like our twisted fabric stems and sweet fabric rosettes as the flower’s center. Artsy and fun,

they’re an easy craft project to tackle in just one afternoon.

Love LettersWe complemented our pop art canvases with a words-worthy

display. It was a fun and easy way to utilize leftover fabric and showcase

even more patterns, color and creativity! We traced the word “love” in a carefree script. Then we applied fusible web (carefully following the

manufacturer’s directions) and ironed directly onto the canvas.

Cute Little Cubby

Who needs a boring doggie bed in a beautifully designed room? Furry friends need a fashionable place to call their own, and this cute little cubby is just the thing. We turned a freshly-painted square wicker basket on its side, and lined it with a comfy

button-tufted cushion, using McCall’s #2450 to get us started. The happy, striped fabric and matching covered buttons make

this piece a perfect addition for this cheery contemporary space.

Doggie Dress-Up

The same vibrant fabric was used to create this sassy doggie-day attire. Using Simplicity pattern #2695, it

features a stylish, turned-up collar, a delightful bow, and an easy Velcro®

closure. The adorable floral print and bold ribbon won our little pooch best-dressed at the park! From cute cover-

ups to cold-weather gear, Hobby Lobby carries plenty of pup-friendly patterns

for your furry, little fashionista!

Made in the Shade

Drab curtains are out the window when you craft your own cheery

roman shade. Using Simplicity pattern #4357, we made this quick and easy window treatment using bold pink and lime floral print and hot pink

grossgrain ribbons. Tip: Your sweet ribbon ties are sure to have lots of

ups and downs! Apply a liquid fabric sealant to prevent the edges from

fraying with frequent use.
