St 1: 1 sc in each st across row, turn.

Finishing CactusSew cactus edges and close one end. Fold ¼" of pot to outside. Fill cactus and pot with stuffing. Sew flower to cactus’s closed end. Sew cactus to pot.

Finishing Llama (as a whole):Put hat on llama’s head. Sew poncho to back of llama. Sew pot on back of llama close to tail. Make two small pompoms with D. Make one small pompom with E and F. Place them between cactus and llama’s neck.


Darling Dragon

Darling details make this dragon pattern irresistible. Stitch two layers together for sturdy wings and use bubble stitches to make the peaks on the crown.

Rnds 36-50: Sc around, 1 dec in each row (37-23).Tie off and leave 1-yard tail to use to attach head. Stuff body, then st head to body.

Fasten off, leaving long tail for sewing to body. This will be the bottom of your head that will connect with the body. You should have 18 sts.

Begin stuffing head. Sew nose onto front of head. Place eyes on either side of nose, about 2 sts over from edge of nose.

Finish stuffing head. Sew on ears.

Main Body/Legs: Rnds are worked continuously. Place st marker at beg of each rnd.

With A, make a magic ring, 6 sc in ring, ch 1.




Fasten off. This is your first leg. Rep for second leg, do not fasten off.

Rnd 1: Ch 3, attach to first leg. Sc around first leg, across ch 3 and around second leg to beg.


Rnd 17: 1 sc in first 5 sts, 1 dec, rep around.





Stuff body and attach head to top of body.

Arms (make 2): With A, make a magic ring, 6 sc in ring, ch 1.



Rnd 4: Sc in first 4 sts, 1 dec, rep.


Stuff arms and sc ends closed. Fasten off, leaving long tail for sewing. Attach arms to sides of body.

OverallsWith B, ch 37, join ends tog to form a circle, ch 1.

Rnd 1: Hdc in each st around, sl st to join to beg st, ch 1, turn.

Attach one end of straps to back of overalls. Crisscross and attach other ends to front bib. Attach buttons.

FlowerWith B (1 strand, hk size G), make a magic ring, 6 sc in ring, sl st to join to beg. Ch 2, (3 dc, ch 1, sl st) all in first st (sc, ch 1, 3 dc, ch 1, sl st) in each of next 5 sts, fasten off.
