• All  prospective  visiting  researchers  must  apply  for  a  work  permit  and/or  applicable  visa  prior  to  arrival.  Allow  3-­‐4  months  for  processing.    

• Hosting  faculty  members  must  complete  the  Employer  Compliance  application  and  pay  a  $230  fee  per  student  to  Citizenship  and  Immigration  Canada.    

• Temporary  Resident  Visa  (entrance  document)  required  for  Brazil,  China  and  Israel.    

• Effective  March  15,  2016:  Visa-­‐exempt  foreign  nationals  (ex.  France  and  Germany)  who  fly  to  or  transit  through  Canada  will  need  Electronic  Travel  Authorization.  Exceptions  include  U.S.  citizens  and  foreign  nationals  with  a  valid  visa.
