• We already know that although we use Gustar to say what we like and don’t like. . .
• Gustar means to be pleasing
• We have been using gustar with verbs. . .
• But we can also use gustar with nouns.
Me gusta vs Me gustan
• With verbs we always use gusta
• A mí me gusta comer las frutas.
• Since this really means to eat fruits is pleasing to me, the subject here is to eat, or comer.

• Now if we want to use nouns, we could use either gusta or gustan
• A mí me gusta la fruta.
• A mí me gustan las frutas.
• *Note because fruit is our subject, that determines whether or not we will use gusta or gustan.

• When you use me gusta or me gustan to talk about a noun, include el, la, los, or las.
