The dynamic development of the modern office market has resulted in changes in the structure of adopted in the 2005 zones distribution The Polish Office Research Forum (PORF) has decided to review the existing division The new business map of the city takes into account mainly infrastructural developments what inevitably affects the shifts in the office districtsrsquo boundaries as well as the changes in the perception of many locations

The launch of the second underground line had the significant impact on the process of observed transformations It has designated potential locations for the successive office projects The new office zones bounaries and names reflect the direction of development and represent the future reality of office market in Warsaw

The biggest changes were registered in the central zones The Central Business District was enlarged to the east by Krakowskie Przedmieście and Nowy Świat streets The previous boundaries from Al Jana Pawła II and Solidarności Hoża street were preserved The City Centre zone was expanded to the north by Dworzec Gdański Station area to the west by Karolkowa street and to the south by Plac Unii Lubelskiej Vistula river remained the east border The new City Centre district is divided into four additional subzones Służewiec was set off from Mokotoacutew zone The former South West office district was subdivided into two areas along main arteries - Al Jerozolimskie and Żwirki i Wigury street The zonesrsquo names have also been changed

The dynamic development of the modern office market has resulted in changes in the structure of adopted in the 2005 zones distribution The Polish Office Research Forum (PORF) has decided to review the existing division The new business map of the city takes into account mainly infrastructural developments what inevitably affects the shifts in the office districtsrsquo boundaries as well as the changes in the perception of many locations

The launch of the second underground line had the significant impact on the process of observed transformations It has designated potential locations for the successive office projects The new office zones bounaries and names reflect the direction of development and represent the future reality of office market in Warsaw

The biggest changes were registered in the central zones The Central Business District was enlarged to the east by Krakowskie Przedmieście and Nowy Świat streets The previous boundaries from Al Jana Pawła II and Solidarności Hoża street were preserved The City Centre zone was expanded to the north by Dworzec Gdański Station area to the west by Karolkowa street and to the south by Plac Unii Lubelskiej Vistula river remained the east border The new City Centre district is divided into four additional subzones Służewiec was set off from Mokotoacutew zone The former South West office district was subdivided into two areas along main arteries - Al Jerozolimskie and Żwirki i Wigury street The zonesrsquo names have also been changed
