Greetings Sorors,

It is with excitement, enthusiasm and a heart to serve that I seek the office of National First Vice President! Leadership plays a significant role in how we shape our Sorority for future success. Delta’s leaders must be ready and able to address the needs of our beloved Sisterhood, while being transformational

and maintaining our status as “The” premier organization dedicated to sisterhood, scholarship, service and social action. As we move our Sisterhood

forward, we need visionary, experienced, innovative, inspirational and courageous leadership. I possess these leadership qualities, and I ask for your vote of confidence to serve as your next National First Vice President. Together, WE can engage, empower and elevate our Sisterhood to the next level!

I have been committed and dedicated to Delta since my initiation in 1976. Each of us has a resounding love for Delta Sigma Theta. My love for our Sisterhood started as a

child watching my mother – the late Soror Anna L. Cooke – and her chapter members meet in our home, perform public service, work together as sisters, and bring others

into the fold. I could not wait to model their behavior, and since becoming a Delta and serving in various roles, I have constantly sought ways to inno-

vate, bridge gaps, and build our membership into one that continues to rise to newer heights.

My record of service demonstrates my lifetime commitment to our Sisterhood. My 45-year foundation in Delta showcases that, in the

role of National First Vice President, I will bring my love for Delta, passion, energy, and willingness to do whatever it takes

to ensure Delta’s relevancy, viability, and success, now and in the future.

I welcome the opportunity to personally share my platform, experience and qualifications and ask that you share your insights and suggestions with me. Please contact me at [email protected], via phone or text at 914-646-4704 or via the Engage With Elsie section on my

website, ElectElsie.com. I would be humbled and honored to have you join me on this campaign journey.

My sorors, thank you for your consideration and your support! Let’s RISE3 together as we engage, empower and elevate our Sisterhood to the next level!

In Sisterhood and Service,

Elsie Cooke-Holmes
