Fraud Detection (FD) offers a broad set of functionalities

to identify potentially fraudulent claims

1. Analytics

The solution consists of three main parts…

2. Graphical User Interface 3. Reporting Module

Different techniques used

to discover suspicious

patterns and

generate sophisticated

and configurable alerts.

Focuses on local

characteristics in data

calculation

Global BI

…reflects the customers overall profitability over

time

Customer

segmentation

Global BI

…across the dimensions of need, potential and

value

Retention

analysis

Global BI

%

… predicts the probability of churn of a given

policy/customer including special models for

probability to surrender and lapse

Portfolio

cleaning

Global BI

…adds the 360° customer view through the

monetary value of the customers to the contracts

chosen by the OE for portfolio cleaning

Win-back

management

Global BI

…predicts probability of winning back customers,

enabling to concentrate on lost customers with

highest propensity of being successful reinstated

Cross

selling

Global BI

…offers predictive models which allow to easier

identify, which product should be offered to which

customer

Valuable

Data Quality (DQ) provides a fully flexible solution

to address identification, reporting and cleansing of

an organization’s data asset

Data Profiling

Data Quality Monitoring

Data Cleansing

Initial health check on current levels of Data Quality, sets the

foundation for subsequent monitoring

Repeated processing of source data files against business defined rules,

resulting metrics available through DQ Reporting portal

Optional cleansing service for the data before

returning to OE

The GloBI DQ Service offers a 3 tier approach for OE’s to any data quality concerns. Each feature is offered independently, and others can be easily added on a as needed basis.

8

Master Data Management (MDM) is a strong enabler for

effective customer insights

OE provides data files to GloBI using GloBI standard transfer medium

OE works with GloBI to define the business rules for the clustering and survivorship process

Data flows from interface into a base set of tables whereby the MDM jobs are activated via a web service call from Atlas scheduler

Results of MDM runs is to cluster and store into the Customer Hub all instances of a customer

OE has secure web service access to ‘Pull’ data into their own analytics

Hub App allows hub data search/view/manage activities

A unified view of the customer linked to their unified product portfolio (360 degree view) is a key enabler for effective customer insights

What models can be built?

Automatic Predictive Modeler (APM) provides efficient

and fast delivery of predictive models

Sampling Model building & testing

Benefits Major functions

SUBSTITUTION

Propensity to buy (cross selling, up-selling)

Assessing response to a campaign

Claim Expectation (Yes/No, count and amount)

In general: any model with a yes/no question, a count or amount to predict
