The completely redesigned GH-3900 was engineered with
a variety of aircraft in mind, including those with limited
space behind the panel. The GH-3900 is a full 1.5 inches
shorter than earlier GH models. To further conserve
space, the system’s Configuration Module has been
designed into the wiring harness, which features a more
compact connector. Flexible ADC options can help
shorten the chassis as well. All these improvements reduce
the GH-3900 ESIS’ weight and power requirements.
Hardware enhancements include a variety of airdata and heading input options, as well as optionalbuilt-in accelerometers. The GH-3900 supportsmultiple input/output data transfer protocols, including ARINC 429, RS-422, RS-232, discreteand analog signals.
Software enhancements include an AircraftConfiguration Module Tool that simplifies the initialsetup of the GH-3900 ESIS. The software allowsauthorized installers to define and customize thepresentation of colors, flight cues and navigationdata. Simply input preferences into the intuitive PCsoftware and start setting the display parameters.
The Aircraft Configuration software simplifies thedisplay and interface settings for authorized installers.

• LED backlit display and controls for long life, low power and high brightness
The GH-3900 Electronic Standby InstrumentSystem (ESIS) represents the next generationof standby technology, taking display andoperation flexibility to an unprecedentedlevel. Configuration options are numerous, with an adjustable display to meet the needsand preferences of almost any cockpitenvironment. Designed to Level A hardwareand software standards, the GH-3900 allowsthe installer to define and configure I/Ointerfaces, SSEC and VMO values, and thepreferred display presentation of attitude, altitude, airspeed, heading and navigation data.
There are several versions of the GH-3900 designedfor a number of platforms and uses. Some modelsincorporate their own ADC, while others interface withthird-party computers. Whether you are looking for a
fully independent standby system for a commercial orbusiness jet, a display-only version for a ground-based simulator, or a repeater version for a dual-pilot configuration, the GH-3900 meets the need.
The GH-3900 ESIS can be programmedfor numerous display options. Oncedefined, colors and visual flight cues arestored in the aircraft’s wiring, eliminatingthe need for a separate configurationmodule. Changing, adding or deletingdisplay features is accomplished usingthe instrument’s Menu button. Interfacesto other avionics are managed throughthe Configuration Module Tool software.

SPECS GH-3900 GH-3900 ( internal ADC)
Magnetic heading can be added to theGH-3900 display using a compatible ARINC 429source. Aircraft without this data protocol canuse the MAG-3000 to obtain heading.
The GH-3900 can be configured with an internalADC or a remote ADC. Operators of legacy air-craft can opt to install the ADC-4000, which isdesigned to share air data with other instruments.
