  • Information required to add/del TRX

    1.Open the LMT.

    2.Select BSC name->site name->cell name.

    3.Board type is here DRFU.

    4. Select the DRFU(alternate name RXU) where the TRX will be add/del.

    5.Define the Pass no (logical position of TRX in DRFU) of the TRX.Pass:0 is the 1st TRX Pass:1 is the 2nd TRX in a DRFU

    6.Define the TRX No (logical TRX No) for TRX add. In LMT only active TRX No is shown. For deleting an active TRX, need to mention the active TRX NO.

    7.Find the slot/board no of the DRFU(logical position of DRFU in cabinet) which is known as TRX Board/port no.

    8.Find the RXU chain no and RXU chain head port no under which the DRFU is configured.

    9. Status-> it means whether to activate or deactivate TRX.

    10. Com/Uncom port-> Tx independent(No combining) or combining(Basically defines the send mode).

    11. TRX Power type -> Defines the power type according to frequency band. 900 TRX power type=20W1800 TRX power type=18W(for DBS 3900,power type=10W)

    12. Band-> Frequency band type (GSM900/GSM1800)

    13. Solution-> depends on install TRX value(uncombined/2 TRX combined+1 TRX uncombined/Nothing).In BTS 3900,solution type Nothing is very common.

    14. Old value-> install TRX(UL+OL) and active TRX(UL+OL) before TRX add/del.

    15. New Value-> active TRX(UL+OL) after TRX add/del.

    19.Cell TSC-> Need to define BCC value of the cell in each of its TRX level.

    20.MAIO-> important for 1800 band. Need to define in TRX level.

    21.BCCH frequency->BCCH frequency of the cell.

    22.Cell wise frequency list(900)-> proposed cell wise 900 frequency list after add/del TRX in the cell.

    24. Cell wise frequency list(1800)-> planned to be add/del in the case of 1800 band.
