Morning Sermon Notes—Bro. Shane
Sunday, March 5th, 2017
Our church will be hosting teams to minister and share the gospel with
those who attend the Bike rally in July as well has provide shower units for
the bikers to shower here on our church campus. Beginning in March, the
fourth Sunday of each month will be designated for a special offering to
help our church serve and minister. Please pray as to how you can give beginning in March.
During March, the following items can be donated: paper products (napkins, cups, paper towels,
plates), bottled water, bleach, Purex Detergent (white bottle), thin, white bath towels and wash-
cloths. A box will be located in the Sanctuary foyer to place these items donated. Thank You!
We are collecting items for our Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes each month
this year. For the month of March please donate the following items: Fabric (approx.
1 yd. pcs), scissors, sewing kits, hair accessories, small tools (hammers, nails, screw-
drivers, screws, pliers), toy tool kits, key chains, small water bottles. For more infor-
mation, please contact Jimmye Ann Vincent. Boxes are located in the Sanctuary
Foyer and Hallway by the Ramp entrance.
Happy 100th Birthday Party for Mrs. Flora King
Mrs. Flora King turns 100 years old, Friday, March 3rd. Join us
Sunday, March 5th from 2-4pm in the Family Life Center as our
church celebrates this joyous occasion with cake, ice cream and

Seniors—Join us Tuesday, March 21st for a day trip to Reelfoot
Lake for lunch at Boyettes Restaurant for Fried Catfish, Country
Ham, White Beans, Onion Rings, Cole Slaw, Green Beans, Rolls
and dessert. We will also take time to look at the Eagles nesting
around the lake and enjoy the wildlife returning to the area for
spring. Sign-up sheet is located in the Sanctuary foyer. We will
leave at 8am and return by 6pm. For more info, contact the church office.
It’s time for our Children’s Ministry Easter Egg Hunt!
Saturday, April 15th @ 11am, Union County Fairgrounds
We are asking for donations of plastic eggs, wrapped
candy (no chocolate please) and any prizes that will fit in
the eggs. The church will provide bottled water and juice
boxes for kids to drink. No refreshments will be served.
