CONFIRMATION CLASS Sunday, November 6, 4-5:30 PM We will have our confirmation class this Sunday and will be learning about the history of First Congo from Mr. Button and Mrs. Karen Caylor. We will also be studying John chapters 10-12, so please read those chapters prior to the class and bring your folders. We will end our time with the testimony of an encounter with Jesus by a special guest. Please plan to attend and contact the office or Stacey if you will not be able to make it.
Operation Christmas Child
It's that time of year again! Don't forget to start collecting items & shoe boxes for Operation
Christmas Child. Just fill a shoe box with toys, school supplies, hygiene items, hard candy,
and maybe a personal note. Label it for a girl or boy age 2-4, 5-9, or 10-14 and please in-
clude $7 to cover the shipping and project costs. The boxes will be due in mid November.
Brochures and extra shoe boxes are available in the lobby. Thanks for your help! -Gayle
College Student Care Packages
Please be sure to confirm your college student’s
school address with Jordan in the office so we can
send a care package to them this Fall!
NEW MINISTRY: GOHH (Gloves Over Human Hands)
God has laid a burden on the heart of Inder Seekri to cover the hands of those within our reach with gloves during the coming cold days. There will be a box located in the lobby for our church family to donate new or gently used gloves throughout the upcoming weeks. First of all, these gloves can be used for anyone within our church who needs them and then as we collect a surplus we will distribute them throughout our community for others in need. God bless!
The Wednesday morning Ladies’ Bible Study is meeting November 2nd at
10:00 A.M. at Kitty Bell’s house. All are welcome!
BIBLE STUDY
Blush November 10 & 11, BLUSH will partner with Megan Fate Marshman for a two-day event. On Thursday,

providing parents with some guidance in navigating our young people through the challenges of our cur-
rent culture. On Friday Nov. 11 @ 6:00pm, Megan will bring a powerful message on true identity at our
FAKE ID event. This is for coed teens, grades 7-12. For more information visit iblush.org.
Casserole Ministry
If you enjoy sharing a meal with others, we
have need to restock our freezer with some
chicken noodle type soups, casseroles or
items that can be placed in a crock pot and
cooked. Please put them in disposable con-
tainers with detailed instructions and place
them in the basement freezer to later be
distributed to those in need. Thank you.

Trunk or Treat
Thank you for all who were involved in our first (maybe annual) Trunk or Treat Event. It was a huge success as we had a full house for most of the 2 hours. We enjoyed meeting some new
faces and having some good times with our own church family. We had at least 130 guests go through our line and enjoy the food and candy. Thanks to all who donated their time, candy
and energy to make this event a great time of outreach to our neighborhood.
