    Answer of Question Number 16 to 3616. Ans: I actually had a happy school life. Still, I could not really get along with a few of my

    friends nicely. I also happened to dislike the way a few teachers taught. Other than that, it was

    smooth.

    17. Ans: I spend my leisure in reading. I take a lot of pleasures in it.

    18. Ans: No, I dont think so. The habit of reading is slowly becoming rare among people over

    here. The advent of the internet and mobile technologies has played an important role in this.

    19. Ans: Reading lets us know the thoughts of others. It is a great way to share our

    philosophies. It is a pleasant process of learning. Developing a habit of reading, therefore, is

    important to me.

    20. Ans: We have festivals which are chiefly religious but also includes cultural events. Eid-

    ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Ajha are the most celebrated religious festivals. We also enjoy the events like

    Pahela Baishakh (the first day of the Bengali month Baishakh).

    21. Ans: The Eid festivals are most important to us. Majority of our people are Muslims and

    therefore, we happily celebrate these events with a lot of expectation and waiting.

    22. Ans: I enjoy cricket most. Its rather complex but beautiful a game. Two teams each of

    eleven play on an outdoor ground. A player of one team throws a ball to a player of the opposite

    team and the latter tries to hit it to various corners of the ground while the opposing team

    members try to collect the ball. While the ball is being collected and thrown back, a pair of players

    of the other team including the one who hit the ball tries to run on a small piece of rectangular

    land called a pitch and the number of runs tells us the score. Later, the opposing team has the

    opportunity to bat or hitting the ball to outscore the team that batted before. This is how, the

    game is played.

    23. Ans: Well, I like our traditional food the most,

    24. Ans: I prefer a restaurant which offers traditional food in a neat and clean environment.

    Nowadays, hygiene has become a chief concern.

    25. Ans: The food items include traditional items such as rice, curries along with vegetables.

    They have other special recipes as well.

    26. Ans: Yes, I believe in friendship. I think friendship is divine and a present from God.

    27. Ans: I have not been to many places as traveling in our country is expensive and compared

    to most other countries, our country does not have too many attractive places to visit.

    28. Ans: I am taking this exam (IELTS) because this may help me fulfill the requirement of

    studying/staying in a foreign environment.

    29. Ans: It is going to going to certify me suitable for the western environment in terms of the

    usage of language. This is very important indeed if you want to go abroad. This is how, this exam

    is going to help me.

    30. Ans: I want to go abroad to receive higher education. I believe the institutions abroad are

    able to offer greater advantages and privileges.

    31. Ans: I chose Australia because Australia, to me, offers cheaper opportunities of highereducation.

    32. Ans: There is a huge difference between the foreign education system and ours. Our

    education system is backdated and inefficient with a lot of other problems while the foreign one is

    advantageous and up-to-date.

    33. Ans: I want to settle down in Australia after I complete my studies there. I believe, the

    opportunities of a better life are more available there. I want to ensure a decent future for

    my next generation as well.

    34. Ans: I would have contributed in many ways to the economic situation of the country which

    is rather poor now. I would have created employment opportunities in mass scale and ensured a

    balanced society with more homogeneity.35. Ans: My role model is Dr. Muhammad Yunus. He, a Nobel laureate, is a Bangladeshi

    economist and human activist. He has brought us glory and joy by establishing a reputation for

    our country. I want to be someone like him in the future. I want to serve my country and be

    remembered as well.

    36. Ans: Dhaka has a very ancient history. In course of time, Dhaka has changed radically. Now

    Dhaka is a modern city with the advantages and properties of one of international standard. It is

    the capital of Bangladesh and therefore, the center of the life of the country. There are many

    places to visit over here and many important tourist spots as well. Despite the colors and beauty

    of the city, excessive pollution and dirtiness often hampers the looks of the city.

    Answer of Question Number 37 to 5037. Ans: I like the way Dhaka has maintained the traditional Bangladeshi culture even after

    maintaining the international standard of a city. You will see many posh cars running side by side

    with colorful rickshaws; an interesting sight indeed. This is what I like about Dhaka most.

    38. Ans: My biggest asset is my honesty. To me, honesty is the most attractive feature of a

    persons character. It may become the chief reason for my success.

    39. Ans: My latest interest is music. I have been learning how to play guitar. Music appears to

    be a very attractive arena for talented people for me.

    40. Ans: I may try to build a career in music as I have felt that I have the ability and merit for it.

    It is something I have passion for and something I would want to work on.

    41. Ans: I have gathered experiences of many colors in college. They include memorable

    events along with things I would like to forget. Once I won the award for the best chess player in

    the college. I was very proud of my achievement. I never lost a match in the tournament held and

    it was indeed a great experience which I want to remember forever,

    42. Ans: I think the profession of teaching is the most important profession at any era. The

    teachers are the ones who take an important part in building the nation a hardworking and

    efficient one equipped with the right knowledge.

    43. Ans: I like reading just before I go to sleep. I get on the bed and read under the light of the

    44. Ans: I am relaxed during this period and that is why I think this is the best time for me read

    45. Ans: I dont think I am very good at cooking. I did cook at times but I was not proud of the

    46. Ans: Yes, I do think that boys also should learn how to cook. There are situations where

    the boys may have to live by themselves and they should therefore learn to be self-dependent.

    Learning how to cook is a part of that.

    47. Ans: My favorite place is my own room at home.

    48. Ans: I feel relaxed and safe there. I can be myself in my own room. The feeling of being

    inside there is different from being at any Other place and that is the specialty of my own room.

    49. Ans: I lived in my parents house. It was a bungalow very decently built. I had a personal

    room in there.
