Caregiver
CarePartners’ nonprofit mission: To provide support, education and resources to caregivers and quality care for those living with memory loss and other challenges of aging.
We partner with congregations, nonprofits, businesses and colleges to host these free educational events. Speakers and exhibitors are professionals who volunteer their time to share information and expertise in their field.
Conference topics include but are not limited to caregiving, memory loss, veteran and government benefits, law, health and well-being, planning and aging resources.
Are you caring for a loved one with memory loss? Do you need a break
from your caregiving responsibilities? Family caregivers caring for loved ones with memory loss,
specifically mild to moderate Alzheimer’s, other dementias or cognitive impairments may participate in this 3 – 3.5-hour program. At the Gathering Place, caregivers receive respite, a break from caregiving responsibilities, while their loved one participates in planned activities such as games, music, crafts, lunch and socialization.

This monthly program is held in partnership with congregations and nonprofits who provide space and volunteers trained by CarePartners to participate on a Care Team®. These Care Team volunteers provide companionship and fun for individuals living with memory loss.

Adjourn
Do you have a loved one who is homebound or doesn’t have many opportunities to leave their home?
This homebased program focuses on helping individuals living with illness or other challenges of aging by providing caregivers a break and companionship for their loved one.
COST: FREE REGISTRATION: REQUIRED
Volunteers are trained by CarePartners to participate on a Care Team® offering family caregivers and their loved ones support such as occasional home visits, companionship and respite, a break from caregiving responsibilities. Volunteers do not provide skilled care such as nursing, attendant, hospice or personal care services.
Frequency and type of visit is determined by the volunteer and caregiver or the individual living at home. Families served are typically members of one of our partnering congregations.
This monthly support group offers emotional support, encouragement, friendship and helpful tips about self-care and caregiving. Common Ground is held monthly for 1-1.5 hours at one of our partnering congregations or nonprofit host sites and is typically held in conjunction with a Gathering Place program.
