Designing with colorful oriental parasols: Awesome!
Do you know a caregiver who needs some time for
him/herself? Adult Day Services can provide that
much needed time.
Attending day care has helped mother greatly. Being kept busy has stopped a lot of her negative dialogue of the past and thinking
of her losses. The day goes by quickly for her at daycare, which gives her less time to dwell on things. Thanks!
We greatly appreciate your thoughtfulness and generosity. Your contributions help us thrive.

And here we go! Do March winds blow in like a lion, making your “March Hair” stand on end? Outstanding Adult Day College basketball shall be showcased during our 2nd annual March Madness event, on the 9th, with contests, exhibitions and more. Rain, snow or shine! Sport your favorite team colors and baggy shorts. (Win a Yeti cooler! ha ha)
A little later, St, Patrick’s Day slithers on in for lucky green festivities. (Snakes, not so lucky). Put a shamrock in your lapel and expect a big blarney kiss! (or pinch, as the case may be). On the 21st, we’ll evaluate the Spring Equinox with fun planetary facts, art and games. And finally, at month’s end, we’ll celebrate this year’s early Easter, on Good Friday, the 25th, for those who wish to. Get ready for egg dying, fancy hats and sharing the inspiration. (Out like a lamb).

There’s adventure in Hazel’s background that may have started when her grandparents immigrated from Sweden to America in the late 1800s. Hazel was raised in Massachusetts and as a young woman moved to New York to attend fashion design school. In the 1930s her bold spirit and confidence led her to open her own dressmaking business in New York.
Hazel and her husband Richard (now deceased) raised three children - Janice, who lives in NC and Andy and Cori - both on the West Coast. Daughter Janice said “Hazel knows about every road from the east coast to California.” Hazel and Richard would drive across the country every year to visit friends and family...camping all the way.
