Gas leak on Galen Street in Watertown nauseates postal

WATERTOWN A gas leak nauseated two postal workers at the New
Town Post Officeon Galen Street.
Emergency crews responded to the post office at 123 Galen St.
around 11:30 a.m. on Dec.31 after a gas leak was reported. Reports
said that when the rescue team arrived on the scene,two postal
workers were standing outside of the building complaining of
nausea.
According to reports, crews found a gas leak in the basement of
the building. When the gascompany arrived, they reported that the
leak was past the meter and repairs would have to bemade by a
plumber and the building was closed until such repairs could be
made.
