at Bhaskar Pharmacy College, Moinabad, Hyderabad., on 3rd & 4th January,

2020.

7 prizes in 58TH NATIONAL PHARMACY WEEK ‐2019

58th National Pharmacy Week ‐2019 celebrations were conducted at RBVRR

Women's College of Pharmacy, Hyderabad, in collaboration with IPA,

Telangana State Branch from 17th to 22nd November, 2019. About 35

students of B. Pharm and Pharm. D were participated in e-Poster Presentation,

Debate, Elocution, Essay Writing, Singing, Dance and various other

competitions. The following students got prizes in various competitions

2 prizes in NATIONAL LEVEL CONFERENCE

The students and staff of G. Pulla Reddy College of Pharmacy attended a two-day conference on “RARE DISEASES-ORPHAN DRUGS AND THEIR PREVALENCE IN PUBLIC” Organized by Geethanjali College of Pharmacy, held from 13th to 14th November 2019. About 20 students of B. Pharm III & V Semester attended and presented oral and poster presentations.

3rd place in inter college wrestling competition

Abrar Bin Hassan Tafai, (B. Pharm 5th semester) stood in third place in inter college wrestling tournament for men held at LB stadium organized by osmania university on 22nd and 23rd August, 2019

I PRIZE IN IPA-IPC NATIONAL PHARMA QUIZ-2018

Students of G. Pulla Reddy College of Pharmacy, Hyderabad participated in IPA-

IPC National Pharma Quiz Competition 2018 conducted at Chebrolu

Hanumaiah Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Guntur on 8th December

2018. Total 225 teams from all over India participated in online test and top 50

teams called for semifinals and finals. T. Varun Sai, A. Saurabh and K. Girish of

IV year B. Pharmacy Students won 1st prize and Alle Poojitha, Jena

Chandrakant and Fatima Unnisa of Pharm.D IV year students stood 6th place

The first prize team received the Mementos and a cash prize of Rs.15,000/-

from the dignitaries of IPA and other guests on the dias.

10 prizes in 57TH NATIONAL PHARMACY WEEK ‐2018

57th National Pharmacy Week ‐2018 celebrations were conducted at RBVRR

Womens College of Pharmacy, Hyderabad, in collaboration with IPA, Telangana

innovation to remain globally competitive in pharma sector”, organized by

School of Pharmacy, Guru Nanak Institutions Technical Campus (Autonomous)

Hyderabad on 3rd and 4th August, 2018.

About 30 students of B. Pharm final year participated and presented ‘posters’ during 3rd Indo-US Conference on “Innovative Strategies in Pharmaceutical Education and Research” Organized by APP Telangana State Branch and APP

Molecular Pharmacology Division at Malla Reddy Pharmacy College, Dulapally, Secunderabad on 28th July, 2018.. The following students won prizes in poster competetion.

by Sultan ul uloom college of Pharmacy Hyderabad. Students presented live

various events organized by IPA education division during 69th IPC 2017.

Student team of K Sai Pradyuth, E Amulya, T Varun Sai from B.Pharm and J

Chandrakanth, Pharm D. participated in the IPA 69th IPC National Quiz

Competition‐2017 , conducted at University College of Pharmaceutical

sciences, Andhra University, Vishakhapatnam on 10th December 2017 and

won 1st Prize. Ms P. Kavya of M.Pharm I year participated in National

Elocution Competition 2017, conducted at 69th IPC at Chitakara University on

23rd December and won 2nd prize.

Winners of the Quiz and Elocution competition were presented Mementos,

certificates and cash awards during the Valedictory function of 69th IPC at ,

Chitkara University, Punjab.

2016-2017

1st prize at national symposium

About 18 students of B.Pharm III year I semester Participated and of whom 9

students presented scientific papers(oral) in a two day National symposium on

“Current Trends and future Avenues in Pharmaceutical Research and National

level Quiz” organized by Malla Reddy College of Pharmacy in association with

APTI-Telangana State Branch on 8th & 9th September 2016. Mr. Sai Pradyuth

has won 1st prize in oral presentation and He was given a Memento and cash

of Rs. 2000/

3rd prize IPA - 68th IPC National Pharma Quiz 2016

G. Pulla Reddy College of Pharmacy (GPRCP) students participated for online

preliminary examination of IPA – 68th IPC National Pharma Quiz 2015-16

organized by IPA – 68th IPC & MYBO Group. GPRCPIANS Team stood among

top 15 teams out of 220 teams of prelims and participated in semifinals and

finals, which was held at A.U. College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Andhra

University Campus, Visakhapatnam, A.P. on 27th December 2016. Vishnupriya

Adi, P Usha Sree, C Mounica & A Sai Akshith, B. Pharm IV Year secured 3rd

position in finals and awarded Cash prize (Rs. 5,000/-) & Certificates.

2 prizes at International Conference

About 12 students of M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics & PAQA) participated and

presented Oral and Poster presentations in a two day DBT sponsored

International Conference “Design Development and Practice of Drugs”

(PHARMA TRANSPIRE -2016), organized by Creative Educational Society’s

College of Pharmacy (CESCOP), Kurnool, A.P., on January 22nd & 23rd 2016.

Three best Oral/ Poster paper prizes were won by Staff & M.Pharm students.

Eight teams from G. Pulla Reddy College of Pharmacy (GPRCP), Hyderabad

participated for online National Level Quiz 2015-16 organized by Smt.

Kishoritai Bhoyar College of Pharmacy (SKBCOP), Nagpur in association with

Alembic Pharma Ltd, & Getz Pharma Research, Mumbai. Four teams were in

competition up to semifinal & final round which was held at Nagpur on 2nd

February 2016. K. RANI SAMYUKTHA & MNL MALLDI MUKUNDA (B. PHARM IV

YEAR) team won First Prize (Rs. 25,000/- Cash Prize).

About 10 students of B. Pharmacy students participated and presented Oral

and Poster presentations in One day National Symposium on “Recent

Developments in Pharmacy” (PHARMA IKON -2K16), organized by Chilkur Balaji

College of Pharmacy (CBCP), Hyderabad on 5th March 2016. One student won

II prIze In “sIpra innovative pharma research

award-2014”

On the occasion of two decades celebration of Sipra Labs Limited, sanathnagar,

Hyderabad, "Sipra Innovative Pharma Research Award-2014" competition was

held on 2nd & 3rd July,2014. Mr.C.Kishore, M.Pharm student, guided by Dr. K.

Latha, Associate Professor, won II prize in the National level Sipra Innovative

Pharma Research Award 2014. The award consisting of a cash prize of Rs.

30,000, Memento & Certificate was presented to Mr.C.Kishore.

Organized by IPC

On the occasion of 66th IPC, Hyderabad, from 23-25th January,2015, B.Pharm

IV year students Ramyakrishna, Sunil, Abishek and Divya won II prize in

National level Quiz competition Organized by IPC and received the award from

the chief guest Shri. K.Taraka Ramarao, IT minister Telangana state during the

inaugural ceremony.

been awarded the Best M.Pharm thesis entitled on “Bioenhancing effects of

Naringin on Atorvastatin” in Pharmacognosy subject by Rajnibhai V.Patel Trust

under the Patronage of Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India

and Sponsored by Triokaa Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Ahmadabad. The Award

consisting of Rs.51,000 cash, memento & certificate presented to the student

Mr. P.Balaraju and Rs.25,000, memento and certificate to the guide Professor

& Dr. Sama Venkatesh,on 24th May.2014 in function held at Ahmadabad,

II Prize in 64Th IPC Phama Quiz Contest

APTI has organized Quiz Contest as a part of IPC-2012 held at SRM

University ,Chennai, during 7th – 9th December, 2012.

56 Teams from various Pharmacy Colleges all over India participated in

the preliminary round. Two teams. S.Tejaswini and P.Balaraju, M.Pharm, and

R.Aditya, & R.Mahesh B.Pharm represented G.Pulla Reddy college of

Pharmacy.

Team of S.Tejaswini & Balaraju selected for final round comprising of

four teams. The team has won II Prize in the final round of the IPC Quiz Contest

Cash Prize of Rs. 20,000, Certificate & Mementos were presented to the

winners by Prof. K. Chinna Swamy, President 64th IPC and Dr.B.Suresh,

President ,Pharmacy Council of India, during the valedictory function on 9th

December, 2012.

Pharmark‐ “Aspiration‐2013”

PES College of Pharmacy has organized “ASPIRATION‐2013”, The Cultural

Carnival… A National event, on 18th and 19th may, 2013 at Bangalore. Various

cultural events were organized, our college participated in three events. 9

Teams from various pharmacy colleges all over India participated in the

Brainteasers event. Our college was represented by P. Balaraju, C. kishore and

Yerram Raju of M. Pharmacy and won II prize in ‘Brainteasers’ (Quiz). They

were awarded with a memento, participation certificate and cash prize. In an

another event ‘Pharmark’, L. Tirupathi Reddy and K. Vijay Kumar of B.

Pharmacy, III year participated and won III prize. They were awarded with a

memento, participation certificate and cash prize.

2011-2012

Prof.M.L.Khorana Medal (IPA) Award

Ms Satti Tejaswini , B.Pharm topper (2011) of G. Pulla Reddy College of

Pharmacy,Hyderabad (AP) affiliated to Osmania University has been awarded

IPA (Indian Pharmaceutical Association) Prof.M.L.Khorana Medal for having

scored highest marks at B.Pharm level among all the Indian Universities. The

award was presented to her during the inaugural function of 63rd Indian

Pharmaceutical congress (IPC) held from 16th to 18th December, 2011 at BIEC,

Bengaluru.
