The first WIE meeting was held on 25-08-2014 at 3.15-5.15 P.M. The main objective of this meeting is to select the convenors and volunteers for the committees and also to discuss the activities which have to be performed under WIE. Those committees under WIE are:

· Executive committee · Publicity committee · Web-casting committee · Membership committee

There will be a chair, vice-chair, secretary, treasurer under executive committee and a convenor and two volunteers for each of the remaining committees.

· WIE Face Book 1. S. Alekheya Bindu (III EEE) The members showed interest in volunteering different activities under WIE. Each

volunteer has been given a specific task which has to be performed by them throughout semester. The members suggested different ideas.

Some of the activities are:

· STAR Program “Awareness on computer basics” · Poster Presentation- Role Of Women In Engineering · Technical Sketch- Technical picture will be shown and the student has to identify the picture

within 15 sec · Fun with circuits- Components will be given and circuit has to be designed in a given time · Interesting lectures on aspiring women · Game on English vocabulary · “T”-Extempore- Technical topics will be given half an hour before the start of the event and

the students have to speak about the topic which he/she gets in one minute time.
