What do we want to achieve?

We want to make people choose Fruit By The Foot when they want a snack.

With whom are we going to connect?

We are connecting with children primarily, and high school kids who enjoy candy sec-ondarily. Ages 6-19.

What are the most insightful things we know about who were talking to?

We know that younger kids want to have the best snack when they come to school. Weknow that the high school group wants to enjoy something that is easy to eat, quick and reminds them of childhood.

What is the single most captivating message we can communicate?

The single most captivating message we can communicate is the fact that the snack tastes good, but is completely unique in terms of how you eat it.

What is the tone of our message?

Light. Funny. Satirical.

What supports this message?

That the ads should be just as unique as the product is.

Creative brief



Idea 1

Kids use the fruit by the foot to try and get a ball down from theschoolyard roof. Some kid decides to eat the snack and the planfails.



Kids tongues turn into fuit by the foot and they can’t nish thierconversation.

Small child is using fuit by the foot to measure his creations. He isworking at a fake carpentry set made out of plastic.

Fruit roll up slip-in-slide is made by school kids. One child guresout that the fruit by the foots unravel as they roll down the hill,next thing you know every single kid is doing the same thing to

create the slip-in-slide.

Kids are exploring and stumble upon how fruit by the foot ismade. The experiance is similar to Narnia and how it’s like anotherworld. Workers are magical and the snacks are measured out and

cut from a tree.

Master craftsman makes things out of fruit by the foot. Kids saveup their snacks daily to get special things made.

starts and kids are charging at eachother, the bell rings and beforeanyone can do anything they start heading to class while eatingthier weapons and armor.

the foot. Kids start throwing their fruits up into the tree, and aftera few seconds strands of fruit by the foot start comming down thatthe kids can pick.
