PIATTI STRING QUARTET
In what promises to be one of the high points of an
exceptional season, the society is delighted to welcome the Piatti string quartet on their third visit to the Roseland. Prize-winners at the 2015
Wigmore Hall International String Quartet Competition, the
Piatti are amongst the UK’s foremost young ensembles. Nothing quite matches the
sound of a string quartet in full flight, and the Piatti is
guaranteed to thrill and move their audience in equal measure.

popular illustrated talks on a wide range of musical subjects. His intriguingly titled talk “Singing with
Hammers – a Brief History of the Piano” will be making its public début at our February concert.
