Message from Miss Gibbs

Hopefully you would have read in yesterday’s update the latest advice is that schools remain open. We will inform you of any changes to that advice and we will act accordingly. If we were to close Leverton, teachers will be ready to provide homework on the website, Reading, Mathletics and TT Rock stars. As a whole school we will continue to encourage children’s hand washing , as I’m sure you are at home. World Book Day was a huge success, the children had an amazing day and hopefully came home excitedly telling you all what they did. The potato characters were brilliant and I enjoyed seeing them all. Well done to all! Have a good weekend.

TTROCKSTARS COMPETITION

The last competition we did was so successful we are going to hold it again and see if David can

retain his title

You have until the end of term to get into the fastest 32.

To do this you must play ‘Studio’ so that your time improves. The fastest 32 will qualify for the next tournament and stand a chance of winning

the belt.

We have some very exciting whole school plans for the 75 years VE Day celebrations which will take place on Thursday 7 May. If your family has ex or current service personnel, RAF, Navy Army, TA etc we would love them to be part of our celebrations.
