OUR INDUSTRY
When Heather Lashley found herself a divorced single parent in 2014, she realized this was an opportunity to make a positive change in her career. Starting her own company was daunting, but after researching businesses and trends in industries she believed in, she focused in on the Medical Aesthetics field.
Heather knew that some of the most amazing relationships she had ever made were bonded around personal experiences, helping other women and recommendations that her most trusted friends had given her. This is what led her to creating Refresh Evolution. Heather wanted to make a visit to Refresh Evolution as fun and as easy as having coffee with a trusted friend.
The Global Medical Aesthetics Industry analysis and forecast states that the market in 2018 is worth $53.3 billion for both service and product revenue.
Over the next five years a CAGR (Compound Annual Growth Rate) of 5.5% is expected and the market will hit $73.6 billion in 2022.

OUR HISTORY
Nonsurgical treatments lead the way across the globe and are broadly classified into three major categories: injectable products, energy-based devices and active cosmetics. Injectable products include neurotoxins such as Botox and dermal fillers such as Restylane and they have the largest market share. These are followed by energy-based devices such as lasers, radio frequency and intense pulsed light (IPL). Cosmeceuticals include skin care, eye care, skin lightening and scar care products.
Every single one of these services or products are something that Refresh Evolution offers to our clients and we will continue to remain up to date to take our share of that $16.7 billion and continue to grow.

A method of exfoliation that consists of using a scalpel to
gently scrape off the top layer of dulling dead skin cells and fine
hair in order to reveal a smoother, brighter complexion.
A chemical peel is a technique used to improve the appearance of the skin on the face, neck or hands. A chemical solution is applied to
the skin that causes it to exfoliate and eventually peel off. The new,
regenerated skin is usually smoother and less wrinkled than the old skin.
A safe, non-invasive and effective treatment to correct skin laxity, texture, lines and wrinkles, rosacea, scars and
stretch marks.
Reverses the signs of photo aging to a certain extent by removing
appearances of damage. In each treatment session, IPL skin
rejuvenation has the unique capacity to treat multiple signs of aging skin
on your face and body.
The face, neck and entire body can be treated with Venus Freeze, and the result will be tighter skin,
softening of wrinkles, plumper fuller and more youthful appearance,
reduced cellulite and more contoured silhouette.
During laser hair removal, a laser beam passes through the skin
to an individual hair follicle. The intense heat of the laser damages
the hair follicle, which inhibits future hair growth.

with Botox.
DermalFiller
Filler is a Hyaluronic Acid based product that is used to diminish the
appearance of deep set wrinkles/expression lines and creating volume in areas of the face.
Fungal NailTreatment
We use the Dermalase IPL laser to safely deliver a medical grade treatment. We do this by sending light and heat into the
nail, subsequently killing the virus causing the fungal infection.
Every one of our technicians is educated and certified in all of our offerings. In Canada there is no governing body in Medical Aesthetics that licenses or decides who can perform treatments. At Refresh Evolution, we put Safety, Education and Sanitation at the forefront of our business, by only hiring Certified Technicians and by continually offering upgrading and education on not just new services but old ones as well.

Michael Mutsaerts joined Refresh Evolution on May 1, 2018. Previously, Michael held similar positions with Cap-it International Inc (brand Cap-it Genuine Truckware) from September 2014 to December 2016 and with Expedia CruiseShipCenters International Inc. from September 2002 to September 2016. Michael has also held volunteer positions with the Canadian Franchise Association as Pacific Council member and continues to be an active participant on their Education committee and Mentorship program. Michael Mutsaerts holds Diplomas in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration from BCIT. Michael is also the principle and President of MLJ Franchise Success Ltd.
Kevin Dodd is an Entrepreneur with an expertise in growth, operations and finance. His portfolio contains a 14 year history of development with a multi-million dollar automotive business, a service and maintenance business and lastly, Refresh Evolution. Kevin is also a franchisee which puts him in the unique position of understanding the Franchisee/ Franchisor relationship and gives him an in depth knowledge of both sides of the business. Kevin believes franchising is the best way to develop a brand and that giving ownership on a franchisee level incentivizes people causing even greater and more rapid growth for all.
Heather Lashley’s motivation to create Refresh Evolution came from her passion to empower women who are looking to become financially independent, and from the ability to make positive visual changes on a very personal level.Heather has successfully built, managed and sold 4 businesses throughout her career. Starting at the age of 23 with an IT Consulting firm, then a retail clothing store, a licensed daycare for 60 children and Finally Refresh Evolution. Heather would be considered an expert in the field of start-ups, business consulting and sales, with her experience spanning over a 20 year period.Franchising Refresh Evolution was the ultimate goal for Heather, a way to expand her work by managing growth and sales through a franchise model.
After traveling extensively in her early 20’s Patricia Speers was able to make connections with people of diverse cultures and it was this, that inspired her to want to work in International markets. Patricia’s inspiration lead her to becoming the Owner and CEO of an International Model Agency in Cape Town, South Africa. During this time, she was also very fortunate to be able to pursue her passion and study aesthetics and massage therapy. Being in an industry that focuses on outer beauty and the influence it has on a person’s psyche, led Patricia to want to help people reach their potential in the beauty and health and wellness industries. After relocating to Vancouver, Patricia received her Medical Aesthetics certificate, and has worked For Refresh Evolution as the Manager of both the Pitt Meadows and Port Moody clinics for almost 3 years.
