ELECTION OF THE BOARD Refer to the Club Constitution. Nominations for Board open Wednesday,
22 April 2020 and close Monday, 4 May 2020. Annual General Meeting -
Monday, 25 May 2020.
HOUSE
At all times members will conduct themselves in a fitting manner and with
consideration for the rights of all other members as per the By-Laws. After
functions and when otherwise requested, members are asked to vacate the
Clubhouse as quickly and quietly as possible. Canvassing for donations, raffles etc.
is not permitted in or about the Clubhouse unless sanctioned by the General
Manager.
Proposals and suggestions are invited from members. It is requested that these
should be made in writing and lodged with the General Manager. Feedback forms
are available at Forster and Tuncurry Clubhouses or can be filled out on an online
form at the Club’s “Contact us” page.
MOTORISED GOLF CARTS Motorised golf carts must be driven on cart paths around tees and greens where
provided. They must not be driven into cart exclusion zones without the
authorisation of the committee.
In a competition - drivers of motorised carts who breach this conditions are
subject to disqualification under Rule 1.2 of the Rules of Golf for serious
misconduct.
When playing socially - drivers of motorised carts who breach this condition will
have their game terminated.
Note: All breaches will be reported to the GM for recording. Multiple breaches will
be referred to the Board for further action.
Cart Exclusion Zones
Tees, areas marked GUR, inside the designated boundaries which include posts,
ropes and painted lines, or within 5 metres of greens at Forster, and 15 meters of
greens at Tuncurry.

Non-members bringing a cart must pay a $10 fee at the pro-shop.
MATCH • Players should read the Local Rules Board before starting play.
• Competition golf may only be played at times as stated on the starting
sheet unless directed otherwise by the starter.
• Normal Club competition will be conducted in as many divisions as the
Match Committee sees fit with the number of players in each division being
approximately equal. Smaller fields will be divided into 2 grades, however
there will only be 1 grade when the field is 79 or less.
• Nearest the Pin competitions will be in grades as decided by the Match
Committee.

the pro shops and on the website.
Slope Ratings
• Avoid Slow Play - Keep up with the group in front. Your scorecard
shows your hit off time for every tee. Are you keeping up with these times?
• Place bunker rakes in the bunker, in the direction of play.
• Divots should be chopped in and filled with sand.
INSURANCE
Forster Tuncurry Golf Club has insurance policies in place protecting the interests
of the Club. These policies also provide limited benefits for members. Members
claiming against Club policies are liable for any excess.
Affiliated golfers (playing members of golf clubs) are covered for personal liability
when golfing or acting in the capacity of volunteer, including the use of golf carts
under a policy provided by Golf Australia. This policy is a component of the
affiliation fee.

SAFETY
Player are responsible for their own personal safety. When there is a risk of
lightning being present at the course, a player should take steps to ensure that his
personal safety is paramount irrespective of whether the siren has been sounded
for the suspension of play. It is a condition of play on both courses that you
acknowledge that you do not rely on the Club to ensure your safety from
lightning.
Signals For The Suspension Of Play For a dangerous situation - one continuous blast on the siren.
Players must leave the course immediately.
If the course is unplayable - three short blasts of the siren.
Players may complete the hole being played and then discontinue play.
For resumption of Play - 2 short blasts on the siren. (Refer to Rule 6-8b)
Play Ready Golf - hit as soon is safe to do so.
JUNIORS
We have a comprehensive Junior Program run by a qualified and certified Junior Golf Coordinator.
Our resident golf professional, Daniel Newton holds regular clinics open to any
junior for a modest fee. New juniors are always welcome. No experience is
necessary, and we can help with equipment if needed.
Our program consists of;
Friday on course from 4pm - term 1 and 4
Sunday clinics starting at 9.00am - term 2 and 3
A two-day school holiday camp in the April, June and September school holidays
Two junior tournaments at Tuncurry in May and Forster in August
