Placement of adverbs of time

After verb BE, and before the main verb in (simple present) … examples I am usually on time. She is rarely late. ------------------- I seldom go to class late. She rarely goes to class. He has never been late. Longer time expressions usually come at the beginning or end of a

sentence. Examples They are late once in a while. Once in a while they come late. -------------------------------------- Ever and other adverbs of frequency come after the subject in a question: Is he ever late? Do you ever come on time/late? Have you ever been to the USA? Has he ever travelled abroad?
