The CBI has filed its chargesheet against Rotomac GlobalPvt. Ltd. And its promoters inconnection with the Rs 456.63-crore alleged loan default towardsBank of Baroda, which is part ofa total default of Rs 3,690 croretowards a consortium of sevenbanks, officials said.

After a three-month probe,the charge sheet was filed in aspecial court in Lucknow. Itdeals with Rs 456.63 crore loanof Bank of Baroda as the probeinto the remaining amount wasstill continuing, they said,adding that more charge sheetscould be filed in the case.

Besides Kanpur-basedRotomac Global Pvt. Ltd, the CBIhas also charged its CMD VikramKothari, his son and director RahulKothari, then AGM of Bank ofBaroda S K Upadhyay, then SeniorManager of the bank Om PrakashKapoor, and then bank managerShashi Bishwas, they said.(PTI)
