My First Impressions of CLIP The most striking element of CLIP is the general friendliness of all staff mem- bers. All staff members are accommo- dating and extremely positive about CLIP and the students. I recall during my first week, how numerous staff members came up to me and offered assistance. Staff members are the back- bone of any academic institute; thus far I have only had positive experiences. Visually, CLIP can be quite imposing – big, nearly shopping-mall like. But once I settled down and I got to know the buil- ding, I quickly realised that the facilities are world-class and all the access points are really quite convenient. I enjoy the remedial and pastoral care the school provides. I have never seen so much attention in terms of EAL, re- medial support and the general well- being of students. It makes my job ea- sier as I have constant support from ex- perienced professionals. The professio- nal development programs are really effective and challenging. The use of ICT during lessons is encouraging. I have been immensely impressed by the quality of student that has progres- sed from the Lower School; their basics are in place and they understand the importance of healthy work habits. They are positive about school and they are always happy when they enter the clas- sroom in the mornings. Mr. Gary Moss October 18, 2013 FORM 5 NEWSLETTER .
