(see Replacement Procedure below) 2) 80% of WLL given on the crane block identification tag is not exceeded and 3) Impact loading is precluded and 4) Each day before use, the crane block and its fasteners and attachments shall be inspected for damage or defects by a competent person designated by the employer with additional inspections performed during crane block use where service conditions warrant and 5) All associated equipment is operated within the crane manufacturer guidelines. Capscrew(s) replacement procedure; 1) Contact Gunnebo Johnson Customer Service with crane block serial number or other identifying information to obtain appropriate capscrew field replacement kit. 2) Remove “A”capscrew(s) and lock washer from crane block cheek weights 3) Remove any corrosion or contamination from side plate threads. 4) Assemble lock washer to “B” capscrew. 5) Apply Loctite Threadlocker #263 to the threads of “B”capscrew(s) 6) Install “B” capscrew into side plate as shown in Figure 3 and tighten to 10 -15 Ft. - Lbs. 7) Allow 24 hours for Loctite to cure before returning block to service.     2)  Remove  “A”capscrew(s)  and lock washer from crane block cheek weights

    3)  Remove any corrosion or contamination from side plate threads.

    4)  Assemble lock washer to  “B” capscrew. 

    5)  Apply Loctite Threadlocker #263 to the threads of  “B”capscrew(s) 

    6)  Install “B” capscrew into side plate as shown in Figure 3 and tighten to 10 -15 Ft. - Lbs.

    7)  Allow 24 hours for Loctite to cure before returning block to service.
