2. Phrases to use while at a restaurant(have students sit at tables while I pretend to be the waiter):

Waiter: Good evening, what would you like to order?Good evening, what would you like to eat?

4. Manners(review manners and have students practice together):Always say “excuse me” if you burp, need to use the bathroom, or need to talk to the waiter.Never reach across the table. If you need something ask someone to pass it to you.If you’re a man, pull out the chair for the girl.

In some other countries it is good manners to leave a tip for the waiter if the service was good.
