Members of Congress have signed aletter to the secretary of the USDA tourge implementation of the LIHEAPbenefit changes in the new farm bill.Speedy implementation of thechange will provide states increasedlead time to grasp for additional re-sources and supports for the850,000 seniors, children, and in-dividuals living with a disabilitywho will lose benefits because of
this policy change.
