transform El Hierro, an island

West of Gran Canaria, into

project that combines a wind

farm with two hydroelectric

projects and three water desali-

nation plans. The islands are, in

ted to marine technologies and

renewables in Gran Canaria;

a centre specializing in as-

tronomy and the development

of associated technologies as
