FYT Leicester Shire - Local Commissioning Partnerships

Confidentialdraft workingdocument – Nov. 09

Find Your Talent in Leicester Shire is working to identify and (where appropriate) develop local commissioning partnerships across the City and the County. Each of these partnerships will be linked with established cultural venues and other FYT funded programmes. It is assumed they will (wherever possible) build on existing networks and partnerships (whether schools or community based). Some partnerships will be targeted, others open to self-nomination.Each partnership will profit from a wide range of benefits and spin-off opportunities. The partnerships will be tasked with undertaking four key roles. The adults and the young people will have the same roles. Each partnership will be supported to engage children and young people as decision makers and ambassadors for arts, creativity and culture.

The following slides map out the main roles of and opportunities for each partnership. They also contain information about who we would anticipate becoming members of the partnership and key timelines for activity.
