Final report. I can say for myself that I tried to practise some more for my English. From look to the BBC to series and looking to movies with English subtitles. Also reading English articles and blogs was part of this semester. My grammar still needs some work but I did some additional exercises to improve that. Certainly the use of tenses was a struggling point so I tried to do some exercises. I hope that this also improves by reading and looking at English articles. I still have a difficulty of speaking before the class in a different language. I always had a lot of nerves. But I tried to control them by practising more at home before the mirror. And take a pill to be calmer. Unfortunately this doesn’t always work so well and the nerves still got the upper hand. And with always the same result that I forgot my text and struggle with my words. Besides that I will keep practising it , so this will become more and more fluently. Because I had some problems with my health . I still got a chance from the lecturer which gave me a boost to keep moving on. Not all teachers would react so positive on the situation. Also because I don’t know a lot of people in our class group I experienced some difficulties to find a group or in the communication with the tasks. The communication with our teacher was always very good, better than in the first semester. Because the teacher now ,answers her mails much quicker. The lessons itself were always well organised and she understands that it’s important that we need to talk a lot. She asks for opinions and reasons why we think we are right. So I may conclude that my English improved but there is still some work to do certainly concerning my grammar. Besides that I think that we had a good and respectful teacher who did a good job for our group to make the courses worth it.
