Essential to quality education is a

Custodian and with the approval of theSchool Comptroller.

A. THE AUDIO VISUAL ROOM

In support of the teaching-learning process,
the AVR provides various audio-visual materials
and appropriate projection and listening
equipment. The section houses the instructionalmanuals, slides, microfilms, audio and video
tapes, charts, mass, transparencies, cds, vcds
and dvds and other A/V equipment. At present,
the AVR has two LCD machines (liquid crystaldisplay) and OHP machines (over head
projector).

Although in its fledging stage, the AVR
provides facilities and materials in support
of instruction such as fully air-conditioned
audio-visual rooms, LCDs and OHPs,slides, microfilms, audio and video tapes,
charts, maps, CDs, VCDs, DVDs, and
other audio-visual equipment.

An Audio-Visual Room with audio and
video equipment may be used for
seminars and special meetings of any
college group upon arrangement with theproperty custodian. Other non-college
groups may also use the AVR by
arrangement and payment of certainamount at the Accounting Office.

HOW TO BORROW OR USE THE
AVR OR ITS EQUIPMENTS
1. Arrangements must be made with the property
custodian for the use of the AVR or any of its
equipment before the date.
2. Fill-up the Reservation Form, indicating the
time and equipment to be used or to be taken
out. Reservations are on First Come, First
Served basis. The AVR users form will be
signed by the college dean / head for approval.

3. After securing the approval, present the form
to the Support Services Staff for assistance in
using or taking out the equipment.
(The Support Services Staff will preserve theform until after the use of the AVR or
equipment, and check the condition of the
borrowed equipment to determine any liability.)
4. Fill up the users logbook.

5. The DVCD player and TV monitor are used
solely for classroom instruction and special
programs, but not for social or entertainmentpurposes.
6. The DVCD player and TV monitor may be
used for three hours only. Any extension of the
stipulated time will be fined Php. 50.00 per
hour, and Php. 50.00 for the DVCD and Php.
50.00 for the Karaoke and a fraction thereof.

7. CDs, VCDs, DVDs and Karaoke canbe borrowed for one day only. The
DVCD player, TV monitor, and lecternwill not be taken out from the AVR,except upon order of the Institution
Administration for some specialoccasions.
8. Review of DVCD tapes may be doneonly during office hours.

9. Return the equipment to itsplace after using, and informthe Support Services Staff orthe Property Custodian thatyou are leaving the AVR.
10. The repair or replacement ofany used or borrowed AVRequipment that is destroyed orhas malfunctioned after usewill be the responsibility of the
borrower, unless suchdamage is found to be notattributable to the user.

USE OF SCHOOL PROPERTIES
Respect for Property ---
Students are expected to use theschool properties and facilities with extra-care. Any damage must be repaired andreplaced at the offenders expense.
Littering or leaving empty bottles andother garbage anywhere is prohibited.Stealing or damaging property inside the
campus will be dealt accordingly.

AVR may be used for official scheduled
classes and activities. The cleanliness of
the rooms and their surrounding is the
responsibility of the students. They should
keep the AVR at all times neat and
orderly. Whiteboards must likewise beclean and the chairs be arranged properly
before and after using.

students in preparing for board exams. It isalso used for seminarworkshop and

Education Department, 4th Floor of the
