Venue & AccommodationThe conference will be held at the University of FH Upper Austria Wels Campus – Stelzhamer-straße 23 in 4600 Wels. Accommodations have been reserved with special rates for your convenience. ParkingUnderground parking of FH Upper Austria Wels Campus is possible but limited. Therefore further parking is available in the Traunparkgarage or at underground parking Kaiser-Josef-Platz. Further parking with costs is available in the Traunpark garage or at underground parking Kaiser-Josef-Platz (see map on the back-side). For the Wels Campus underground parking there are free parking-exit-tickets available at the registration desk.

Currency and BankingThe official currency of Austria is Euro (EUR, €). Therewith, Austria belongs to the 19 European countries that use the common European money. Banks are located in the surrounding of the congress area. Opening hours (depend on the Bank): >> Monday-Friday: 09:00 am - 12:00, 02:00 pm - 03:00 pm>> Saturday and Sundays: closed

ATMYou may find ATMs within a bank or right outside of the bank building. Entering a bank during closing hours is usually possible with bank cards with a chip. In order to find an ATM see the sign underneath. Climate and ClothingIn May the season of warmer temperatures begins in Austria. We may characterise the weather as comfortable with plenty of sunsine and occasional rain shower. So dont forget your rain jacket. The average temperature is around 15°C.

Store Opening HoursThe opening hours of shops vary in Austria. Mostly though, the opening hours during the week are Monday – Friday, from 09:00 am - 06:00 pm and on Saturday, they are open until 01:00 pm or 05:00 pm. Smoking areaNo smoking in public buildings (e.g. airports, train stations, schools, universities, government administration buildings) and on public transport (e.g. trains). At the conference venue you may smoke in the inner courtyard of the Wels Campus. In general smoking is allowed in restaurants, bars and cafes, if there are seperated smoking and non-smoking areas.
