The innovation factor at BILTON plays a significant role not only in product design, product development, or new product appli-cations. Above all, the innovative manufac-turing process of BILTON’s LED strips gives the company a clear advantage; our manu-facturing process was developed internally by the company.

REEL-TO-REEL – BILTON’SMANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY

The high quality requirements on the pro-duct range led to BILTON to develop its own production technology and system for linear LED light strips a few years ago. High pro-duction efficiency and low error rates were the two central requirements. This innovati-ve reel-toreel process can produce LED mo-dule strips without a soldering point. All the work steps traditionally carried out separa-tely can now be taken fully automatically as one production step.

ADVANTAGES OF THE REEL-TO-REEL PRODUCTION

BILTON produces on flexible printed circuitboards with a length of up to 50 meters. With this technology, the error rate is lowe-red to below 300 ppm and costly assembly steps are eliminated. The fully automated process flow also guarantees enormous re-liability and full traceability of the batches produced. The most important advantage, however, is undoubtedly the “Made in Aus-tria” guarantee.

SMART CORE –BOARD FOR FLEXIBLE LED MODULES

The BILTON SmartCore are circuit boards that aim to create a continuous line of light. The BILTON SmartCore series is a circuit board with integrated LED chips that are used to make technically related dark areas a thing of the past. The additional LED chips on the circuit board ensure that the light does not have any dark spots and so can bring its full luminosity to its advantage.

With the end feed, the light shines to each end and with the strain relief, the automatic protective device is already attached to the circuit board.The central feed can be used where the cable is not routed through the end cap - long mo-dule lengths can also be realized.With the corner feed, light lines are drawn around 90 ° corners without interruption.

The specific specifications of the customer are transferred to the product layout. The customerhas a wide range of specifications to choose from. LED modules and configurations specially designed for the customer are created.

BILTON produces its LED modules in internal reel-to-reel production. This differentiation is notdone by product price, but through superior product performance, new configuration optionsfor LED strips, and effective lighting applications.

The ONE and ONE XL series guarantee luminous flux over the entire length without pow-er fluctuation from roll to roll. The integrated temperature monitoring granted this series a constant and comogenic Illu-mination.
