“But” said the impa-

tient official, “tell him

the company president

 wants to see him.”

The secretary firmly

replied, “I have strict

order not to disturb

him when he is in con-

ference.”

 Angrily, he brushed the

secretary aside and

opened the door andsaid, “I’m sorry. Is this

Time is a gift from

God.

In stewardship spiritu-

ality, we fulfill an obli-

gation of being thank-ful for this gift of time,

 by giving back to God

in prayer.

Making time to pray

can be seen in this

story:

During the lunch hour,

the president of a largefactory wanted to talk

to his company’s man-

ager about an urgent

matter, but the man-

ager’s secretary said

“He is in a conference

in such a conference,”

said the secretary. The

president had found

the manager on his

knees before an open

Bible. Of course, the

fifteen-minute daily

conference was with

God.

Say a prayer today

thanking God for

the generous time

 we have to help

those around us.
