Lenten Penance Reconciliation Service In preparation for the upcoming Lenten Season, there will be a Reconciliation Service on Tuesday, March 3rd at 7pm at the UCC chapel. As we prepare for this season, let us allow God to enter our lives with the renewal of ourselves and to be strengthened through His will and grace. This Reconciliation service provides us the opportunity to grow in holiness. Hope to see you there! Holy Hour Join us for our weekly adoration every Tuesday at 7:30pm for some one-on-one time with Jesus. Reconciliation is also available. Praise and worship will take place during Holy Hour every even week.

Join the Thomistic Institute, the EFD committee, and guest speaker Dr. Ed Feser this WEDNESDAY, Feb. 19th at 6:15 pm for a talk titled, "What is Matter?" examining the relationship between Aristotelian-Thomistic thinking about matter and quantum mechanics, right here in the UCC Chapel.

DID YOU KNOW? Make a playground checklist
Parents sometimes think of playgrounds as “drop zones” for their kids — keep an eye or an ear out, but otherwise settle in on a bench while your child burns off energy. Nearly 170,000 children were injured on playgrounds in 2019, and a few moments of careful attention could keep your child from joining those ranks. When you get to a playground, check out the surfaces underneath the equipment, especially equipment that allows children to jump or hang from it. The ground surface should be soft and shock absorbent. Reconciliation During the quarter this Sacrament will be celebrated Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00-5:00pm, by appointment with Fr. Jamie or Fr. Mark, or during Holy Hour. Anointing of the Sick If you have a serious illness or an upcoming surgery and would like to celebrate the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick, contact Fr. Jamie or Fr. Mark. Weddings – Engaged? Congratulations! UCLA students, faculty, staff, and other members of our worshipping community may contact Fr. Jamie or Fr. Mark about Engaged Encounter retreats and other aspects of Catholic marriage preparation. Please contact either priest at least 6 months before the proposed wedding date. RCIA/Confirmation Confirmation have both begun. Contact Fr. Jamie at [email protected] for more info.
