Freeborn County Road & Bridge Department is seeking applicants to fill a full time Highway Maintenance Worker. Qualifications: Valid Commercial Driver’s License, high school graduation or equivalent, plus two years’ experience operating heavy equipment, or equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential duties of the position. Skills testing may be required. Duties include: truck and heavy equipment operation, plowing snow, ice control, and other activities associated with road maintenance and repair; shop and grounds maintenance; traffic control; brush and tree removal; mowing; working with engineering staff; manual labor and other duties as assigned. Starting pay is in the range of $17.67 - $18.95 DOQ.
