Freeborn County has been approved to receive $82,289.00 from the Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) to assist individuals that have residential and/or commercial property with the cost of debris removal from storms which impacted out area from September 22 and September 23, 2010.
To be eligible for funding you must:- Have debris as a result of the storms between September 22, 2010 and
September 23, 2010;- Not have another source (i.e. insurance) paying for the cost to remove
debris;- Complete the application and collect all required documentation (i.e. proof
of payment and insurance letters) by August 31, 2011;- Sign, date and deliver the original application form with all required
documents prior to August 31, 2011.
The application period will close on August 31, 2011. After that date the amount of funding available to an individual will be determined based on the amount of applications received.

Freeborn County has been approved to receive $82,289.00 from the Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) to assist individuals that have residential and/or commercial property with the cost of debris removal from storms which impacted out area from September 22 and September 23, 2010.
To be eligible for funding you must:- Have debris as a result of the storms between September 22, 2010 and
September 23, 2010;- Not have another source (i.e. insurance) paying for the cost to remove
debris;- Complete the application and collect all required documentation (i.e. proof
of payment and insurance letters) by August 31, 2011;- Sign, date and deliver the original application form with all required
documents prior to August 31, 2011.
The application period will close on August 31, 2011. After that date the amount of funding available to an individual will be determined based on the amount of applications received.
