Background of Curriculum Revision in BRE
• Initiated at the University level in February 2004• “Curriculum Revision for the Triennium 2005-08”
was compiled by Mrs Ann Cheung and endorsed by the Faculty Board in mid 2005.
• The revised curriculum was implemented in September 2005 for all undergraduate programmes.

Major Revisions in BRE
• BRE Scheme which consists of three undergraduate programmes:– BSc(Hons) in Building Engineering Management– BSc(Hons) in Property Management– BSc(Hons) in Surveying
• A 3 year Full Time programme with a total of 90 Credits– Outcome-oriented curriculum– Criterion-referenced approach for assessment– Work-integrated-Education (WIE)

• To mark the beginning of the new academic year, and
• To brief colleagues on the major changes to be implemented in the year ahead
• A half day experience-sharing workshop was organised on 10 (Saturday) September 2005
