Jesus Christ is Our Lord and SaviorWe are delighted that you joined us today for worship. God created mankind in his image. In its created state, everything that God made was “very good.” (Genesis 2:7-3:2) The world is stained by sin, and every person is a sinner. (Genesis 3; Romans 3:23) The wages (Romans 6:23) for sin is death. Because of sin, every person deserves the penalty of physical death and eternal judgment. (Romans 6:23) Because he loves us, God the Father sent his Son, Jesus Christ, to receive the punishment for our sins by dying on the cross. (John 3:16; Romans 8:1-11) Every person who turns to Christ in repentance and receives him as Savior and Lord will receive forgiveness for their sins and eternal life in heaven with God. We Gather Around God’s Word in Our Singing & PreachingWe gather for worship each Sunday at 10:45 a.m. We seek to blend the best of both the ancient and modern expressions of Christian worship. We use a variety of instruments in our praise of God. The Word of God is central to our worship.
We Hope You Will Connect by Attending a Sunday SchoolClasses for children and adults of all ages meet each Sunday at 9:30 a.m. We would be excited to have your family join us. For a listing of classes, please stop by our Connections Center.
We have Bibles for EveryoneWe want everyone to have their own copy of God’s Word. You are welcome to use the Bible in the pew rack. Bibles are available at no charge at the Connections Center.
We Provide Child Care We off er extended care for children from birth through age 4 in our preschool area and Children’s Worship for ages 3 (need to be potty trained) - grade 4.
The church offi ce is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday. You may call the church offi ce any time at 254-865-2014. Please leave a voice mail message if no one answers.

Winter 2020 Sermon SeriesOn January 5, Dr. Crosby's message will be titled State of the Church and on January 12, he will begin a sermon series titled Story to Tell: Woman at the Well.
Sunday School Teachers and Workers MeetingThere will be a meeting for all Sunday School teachers, workers and class offi cers on Sunday, January 5, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. The meeting will be over by 9:30 a.m. Please mark your calendar for this important meeting.
New Members and Guest Orientation and Luncheon on Jan. 19New members, guests and visitors are invited to a luncheon orientation with the pastor and staff on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at 12:15 p.m. in the church Fellowship Hall. This is for all newly baptized and transfers of letter, as well as, those inquiring about membership. Please mark your calendars! More information will be coming soon.
Display His Splendor2019 is almost history. The New Year of 2020 begins this Wednesday. Hallelujah!
Let’s close the book on 2019. There’s nothing you can do to change those 365 days. What’s done is done.
The New Year is out in front of you. It is loaded with possibilities and opportunities. We want to be prosperous in the New Year. We want to perform at the top of our game.
We also want to be the kind of people who are “oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, for the display of his splendor” (Isaiah 61:3).
Let’s make all adjustments required so that our awesome God may be on display in our words and deeds in this New Year!
