A Century of Women ArtistsAdultsSeattle Art Museum presents another blockbuster exhibit from Europe. Elles: Women Artists from the Centre Pompidou, Paris will open in October. SAM is the only venue in the United States included in the world tour. The exhibit highlights artistic developments throughout the century, showcases over 125 works by women artists spanning the years 1909 to 2007. Elles covers major art movements from Cubism and Surrealism to contemporary painting, video and installation.
