This server creates a unified platform for mid to high volume high speed printing. The professional spooling system includes a vast amount of data conversion and prepress workflow capabilities. PRISMAproduction is modular and integrated software that works in conjunction with best-of-breed partners to cover the complete document and print workflow.

The Onyx Thrive™ graphics workflow software offers print service providers a scalable print production solution based on Adobe® technologies and a true end-to-end PDF workflow from digital file submission through color management, printing and cutting. The Thrive Production Manager browser-based user interface enables workflow control from anywhere including a wireless device, optimizing both operator and output device productivity. Its high performance software architecture helps automate repetitive tasks, optimize media used, and reduce waste using Quick Sets™ and advanced nesting.

Océ Touchstone software helps streamline dimensional printing on the Océ Arizona Series UV flatbed printers. To simplify this, until now, labor–intensive workflow, Canon has tailored specific solutions to meet the needs of the designer who creates the files and the print provider that prints them. To help streamline the process on the print production side, Canon worked closely with graphics RIP provider ONYX®, a Canon group company, to marry the patented Océ ALPS (Advanced Layer Printing System) technology with a special ONYX Thrive printer driver so that the RIP could now interpret the height map contained within the PDF. This provides the print provider with a familiar print workflow where they can print the entire job essentially with one push of the print button. Carriage height adjustment is automated and the multiple layers can be left to print unattended, thus enabling print providers to make additional revenue after business hours.
