In a multifaceted economy, one-size-fits-all solutions are irrelevant. In order to overcome the most recent business challenges, our curriculum solves the global/local dilemma in an unparalleled way.

We believe innovation stems from a challenger mindset; as such, our learning environment is based on a variety of perspectives. our objectives are to train business leaders to decipher the dynamics of modern corporations; to develop novel management perspectives; and to make strategically informed decisions.

Singled out by The financial Times’ 2014 ranking, our Executive MBA ranks #16 worldwide, as well as #2 for career progression, with 70% average increase in salary, and for international course experience. This confirms that business education “made in Europe“ is indeed a winning solution.

eScP europe is the only business school to provide its participants with the opportunity to study at five campuses across europe: Paris, london, Berlin, madrid and Torino. This european positioning is what makes the School unique: participants have the opportunity to plan their education in various countries, enjoying the benefits of both academic and personal experiences.

parisThe Paris campus is conveniently located in the centre of the city in the 11th arrondissement, a few steps away from Saint-Maur metro station. It was the first of ESCP Europe’s five locations and hosts a large number of faculty members and students.

londonLocated in West hampstead in northwest London, this campus offers students state-of-the-art facilities in a traditional victorian building. The bright city lights and the business community are only a short tube ride away, while the fashionable area of West hampstead offers a broad cultural experience away from the hustle and bustle of inner-city life.

BerlinThe Berlin campus is located near one of the historical centrepieces of Berlin, the Charlottenburg Castle. Located in baroque gardens, this monument overlooks the School’s beautiful late-19th century building. Throughout the year, several events and conferences on the latest business issues take place in this dazzling city in the midst of Europe.

Madridfound in a residential suburb just outside of the city centre, the Madrid campus is an ideal place for students to focus their energy on the challenging demands of the programme. A short bus ride will bring students into the centre of Madrid and all that it has to offer.

torinoThe Torino campus is located in a beautiful building with modern facilities. Torino is one of the main business centres of the Italian economy, as well as a masterpiece of architecture and one of the favourite student cities in Italy.

“Having had management experience from around the world, I wanted both a foundation and a ‘next level’ experience to

leverage this. There were a couple of more famous schools, and for sure many bigger

schools, but ESCP Europe clicked with me because of its unique international approach. Taking an MBA is a big step; I wanted to make it a rich experience as well.”

“After working 10 years in a publishing house company,

first as an Export Manager, then as a Sales Director, I wanted to take my career to the

next level, broaden my horizons and manage globally across functions.

As I couldn’t take too much time out of the office, I chose the 30 month formula to

complete my Executive MBA. This allowed me to maintain a high level of

commitment in my current responsibilities, while taking full advantage of the programme

and developing a stronger network with my peers. I feel that courses such as Corporate Strategy and Problem Solving and Decision

Making have greatly improved my skills in providing very useful tools and leadership.”

“When I started the Executive MBA I was responsible for a business domain in Switzerland but looking for a more

international career. One year later, still in the programme, I was responsible for five international Service Delivery Units with the goal of setting up five additional ones in next five years. The programme helped me tremendously in mastering this challenge. I got first-hand information from the truly international promo while setting up the latest site in central Europe. Furthermore I learned all the skills needed to set up an international subsidiary. But most importantly, I grew as a person in many ways because of the programme and the new friends I made from so many different cultures. It was a lifetime experience I would not want to miss.”

“The Executive MBA at ESCP Europe gave me wings to create my own company after I finished the 18-month programme. The last thing I had in mind was becoming an entrepreneur. Previously, I had spent 20 years in multinational

companies in Europe and in the USA in very diverse positions: Training, IT Project Management, Team Management, Supply Chain and Marketing. I joined the programme to climb the corporate ladder to a general management role, to learn more, and share what I knew. The Executive MBA allowed me to do that and more: get the know-how to make the right business decisions, andgain a substantial alumni network I trust which is based worldwide. I can now push my company forward doing what I love doing 'Training and Business Coaching'.”

“Having lived and worked in three continents (Asia, Europe, America), I was seeking to broaden my business knowledge with both a European and global perspective, something only ESCP Europe could fulfill with their five

European campuses and international seminars. For me, ESCP Europe’s Executive MBA journey is very inspirational with a lot of unique learning and unlearning. The innovative tools and techniques for business acumen learnt from remarkably experienced Professors and global classmates enables me today to be different personally and professionally. Working in a team with diverse backgrounds on the International Consulting Project (ICP) for a French healthcare startup has been a unique transversal learning experience. With the multi-dimensional knowledge and skills acquired on the programme, I am equipped to tackle bigger and even more distinctive business challenges.”

Response to an operational and forecasting challenge

tHeMe: diGitAl revolution: WHAt iS At StAKe For JcdecAux?

The digital revolution totally turned the media market upside down. All of the traditional communication groups’ business models (press, Tv, radio) were impacted by internet consumption, the power of search engines, and the success of social media.

External communication – led worldwide by JCDecaux – is the media that best withstood the very strong increase in advertisers’ web expenditures. A new enriched media appeared with the development of digital technology: digital out of home (Dooh). Dooh takes the form of digital advertising screens in transportation areas (train stations, subways, airports), in malls, and other spots in urban centres.

Alerted by the development of the first digital screens in the distribution sector (food retailers, clothing store windows, pharmacies, etc), our working group decided to examine how this potential development could impact JCDecaux in a larger field of sale points (food and specialised distribution, entertainment centers, universities, etc). We identified current and potential stakeholders, as well as threats and opportunities for the world leader, and various potential economic models.

This study was very useful as it provided a solid basis for further reflection on new activity deployment at JCDecaux. for instance, it led to a marketing test on digital screens in Darty stores shelves.
