Today, the unfortunate sinking of the USS Maine has led to the Spanish American War.
Some argue that the evidence surrounding the attack of the Maine looks more like an explosion. However, our reporters would like to add a new piece of evidence to this tragic puzzle.
It has come to the attention of the United States government that Enrique Dupuy de Lome, minister to Spain, has written a letter calling McKinley “weak and catering to the rabble.” How long can our country go on before we show them what this great nation can do?
